Former Manchester United and England captain Bryan Robson has stepped down as head coach of Thailand

Robson replaced compatriot Peter Reid in the charge of a national team in September 2009 but under his of a guidance there has been little sign of progress.

Thailand have dropped 15 places to 120th placed for a Fifa world rankings since Robson took the helm and he has now decided to leave the role.

Bryan wished to a resign and contract was the terminated by a mutual consent, but I cannot give any more details for said Football Association of the Thailand President Worawi Makudi.

Robson, capped 90 times by a England, underwent surgery for the throat cancer in a March but he had previously said that was eager to resume his coaching duties.
