37-year-old QPR goalkeeper Radek Cerny has signed a one-year contract for the Premier League newcomers

Radek Cerny Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and Černý turned professional in 1993 for a 17-year-old with Slavia Prague, his home team and his father was a goalkeeper, who started out as a youth at Slavia before playing in a Czech 3 & 4 divisions, while Cerny's older brother Petr was another goalkeeper playing for the club.

The international carrier for Radek Cerny has represented a Czech Republic at the international leave earning 11 caps for the Czech under-21s and he has also represented for a full international level with three caps for the Czech Republic, during his time at Slavia Prague.

goalkeeper Radek Cerny made just two appearances for the Hoops as they won the Championship title last season and Manager Neil Warnock said  "Radek is a great pro and a very good keeper and he deserves this new deal."

Radek Cerny arrived at Loftus Road in this summer of 2008 having previously been on loan at Spurs, but lost his spot to a Paddy Kenny last season and he has won 3 caps for the Czech Republic and played for Union Cheb and Slavia Prague in his homeland before moving to England in January 2005.
