Naples prosecutor investigates games in Spain, Italy & South America for alleged match-fixing and the official revealed the supposed existence of an international gambling ring, which may have influenced the results of hundreds of fixtures including Serie A matches.

A Naples prosecutor has announced that an investigation is underway on over 150 matches in Italy, Spain and South America as he attempts to uncover an alleged international match-fixing ring involving the Neapolitan mafia and the prosecutor Rosario Cantelmo revealed in the Friday during a press conference that a following the arrest of several members of the city's Camorra criminal syndicate and the authorities would be looking into widespread betting irregularities in Italian football of a covering a vast number of matches.
