Barcelona's Andres Iniesta To Miss Four Weeks With Hamstring Injury Champions League Group Game on Tuesday Evening.

The Catalan club have confirmed that the 27-year-old midfielder will miss 5 games including the Liga clashes against Valencia and Atletico Madrid and the barcelona have announced on their official website that Andres Iniesta will be sidelined for the next month with a torn hamstring.

The midfielder picked up the injury 5 minutes before half-time during the Catalan club's 2-2 draw against AC Milan in a Champions League group game on Tuesday evening and the iniesta will miss the upcoming fixtures against Osasuna, Valencia, Atletico Madrid, BATE Borisov and Sporting Gijon and the playmaker could return in time for Spain's Euro 2012 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Scotland to be played on October 7 and 11.

International career for a Iniesta burst on to the international scene in 2001 helping Spain win the UEFA European Under-16 Championship and was in squad that claimed the UEFA European Under-19 Championship the following year and he was called up to represent Spain at the World Cup 2006 on 15 May 2006 to the surprise of many and iniesta won his 1st cap for Spain when he was brought on at half-time in a friendly against Russia on 27 May 2006 and he scored his 1st goal for Spain in a friendly against England on 7 February 2007.
