Tom Cleverley is One of five Manchester United Players in the England Equad

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and Manchester United's Michael Carrick have both withdrawn and the cleverley, 21 came on as a substitute during United's 3-2 Community Shield victory over Manchester City on the Sunday.

He has spent most of his United career out on loan, first at Leicester then at Watford and last season at Wigan and Cleverley played for England at Under-20 level before making his Under-21 debut against Macedonia in a 2009 and the United and England team mate Ashley Young believes the midfielder has a promising future ahead of him.

International career for a Cleverley was called up to a Noel Blake's England Under-20 team for the first time on 12 March 2009 and following a dislocated shoulder suffered while on the loan at Leicester City a few days later and he was forced to withdraw from the squad and was replaced by the Manchester City midfielder Adam Clayton.

Manchester United first team Paul Scholes' retirement before the 2011–12 season left an opening in Manchester United's central midfield and theCleverley has been identified by the manager Sir Alex Ferguson as a potential homegrown replacement for Scholes and he was praised by Ferguson after playing and the full 90 minutes in a 2–1 victory over Barcelona in the preseason friendly match.
