Patrice Evra Defends David De Gea

Patrice Evra is confident new Manchester United team-mate David De Gea will become a success at Old Trafford and spanish goalkeeper De Gea joined United in this summer from Atletico Madrid and was signed to replace the retired Edwin van der Sar.

He has endured a difficult start to his Red Devils career after making mistakes against Manchester City in a Community Shield and West Brom in opening Premier League game of the season and 20-year-old has the backing of his manager Sir Alex Ferguson and also the support of the rest of the United squad.

Patrice Evra, who also suffered during the early stages of his Premier League career after arriving from Monaco in 2006, expects De Gea to eventually prove in the sceptics wrong and i had the same thing when I joined Man Utd, Evra told Sky Sports News.

Personal life for a Patrice Evra was born in Dakar, capital city of Senegal, to a Senegalese father of Guinean descent and Juliette, a Cape Verdean mother and he has a total of 25 siblings, although 2 are now deceased.

Patrice Evra international career for a former French youth international  having played for the under-21 team and Evra earned his 1st call-up to the under-21 team under coach Raymond Domenech on 3 October 2002 for matches against Slovenia and Malta and he made his under-21 debut in the match against Slovenia as France cruised to a 1–0 victory.
