Dirk Kuyt Agent Claims Advised To Think Over Offer From Inter Milan

Dirk Kuyt's agent claims Inter Milan have made an offer for the Liverpool forward and the Inter are looking for striking reinforcements with Samuel Eto'o poised to join Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala and Kuyt is a list of targets.

Italians have held a long-term interest in a Holland international and they tried to a sign Kuyt last summer while former boss Rafa Benitez was still in a charge at the San Siro and he representative Rob Jansen admits the 31-year-old needs to think about the offer from Inter Milan have made an attractive offer for Dirk and he has to think about it, Jansen told RTV West and the two clubs have yet to agree a deal.

It is unlikely Liverpool would be willing to a sell Kuyt as he enjoyed a strong 2nd half to last season and he was rewarded with a contract extension to keep him at the Anfield until 2013 he was left out of Liverpool's starting line-up for the opening draw at home to Sunderland and he returned to the first XI for the weekend win at Arsenal.

International career for a Marco van Basten took over as coach of the Dutch national team he dropped many established player and including strikers Roy Makaay and Patrick Kluivert Kuyt benefitted as in September 2004 and he made his international debut in van Basten's 1st game against Liechtenstein and he has been a permanent fixture in the Dutch squad starting line-up for eleven of the Netherlands twelve 2006 World Cup qualification matches.
