Brunt Pens New Baggies Deal And The Hawthorns Captain Signs New Three Year Contract.

West Brom captain Chris Brunt has followed in a Youssef Mulumbu's footsteps and the committed his future to the club and the Northern Ireland international has signed a new three year deal with a further 12-month option in the club's favour he has gone on to make 157 appearances for The Baggies after joining from Sheffield Wednesday in August 2007.

West Brom have now locked down two of their brightest talents and with the Mulumbu committing until 2015 just last week and Manager Roy Hodgson has expressed his delight that Brunt has put pen-to-paper, stating the midfielder deserves his reward and i am pleased Chris has been rewarded with this extension on improved terms. It is fully deserved, he told the club's official website.

International career for a Chris Brunt has won more than 20 caps for the Northern Ireland national team and he scored his first goal for his country in February 2009, when his free-kick helped Northern Ireland to a 3–0 victory over San Marino.

Personal life for a chris Brunt became a father of a 1st time on 1 May 2008, when his wife Cathy gave birth to a baby boy named Charlie and the he couple then welcomed a second child, Zach David Brunt, on 18th April in 2011.
