No Renewal Contract For Pepe

Although Mourinho repeatedly remind Real Madrid that they need Pepe and vice versa, they decided not to renew contract with Pepe. The club doesn't accept the wage demands, and Pepe pretty much going to leave Real Madrid in 2012, unless the club gets a better deal to sell him in the summer.

After a year of talks, the renewal contract has reached a point that neither of Pepe and the club made an agreement.

Pepe made his first offer of € 5 million euro per season, which quickly rejected by the club. A few weeks ago, Pepe reportedly lowered his offer to € 4 million. Real Madrid only reached their limit to € 3.5 million. However, this time Pepe refused and so the renewal contract is over.
