Manchester United's Wes Brown completes Sunderland Move And He Has Four Year Deal With The Black Cats

Sunderland have completed the signing of Manchester United defender Wes Brown for an undisclosed fee and Brown, 31, has agreed a 4 year deal with the Black Cats and who are also chasing for his United colleagues John O'Shea and Darron Gibson.

He has 23 England caps made his United debut in 1998 and went on to make 361 appearances but had slipped down their pecking order of defenders and O'Shea 30, travelled to Sunderland on Thursday for a medical and he has won 2 Champions League titles, five Premier League winners' medals, two FA Cups and two League Cups with the Red Devils.

Brown is expected to be joined at a Stadium of Light by O'Shea and the future of Gibson, 23 is a less clear, with Newcastle also showing an interest and Meanwhile, Sunderland chief executive Steve Walton and marketing and commercial director Lesley Callaghan are both to leave the club.

Brown's Manchester United honours for a Premier League: 1998/99, 2000/01, 2002/03, 2005/06, 2007/08,Champions League: 1998/99, 2007/08,FA Cup: 1998/99, 2003/04,League Cup: 2005/06, 2009/10 and Community Shield: 2003, 2007, 2008.
