Arsenal Rule Out

Liverpool Name Just 21 Players In 25-Man Premier League Squad


Liverpool has named now 21 senior players in their 25-man Premier League match day team.

The new system state that for the 2010-11 Football season, teams have to register a maximum of 17 'non homegrown' and minimum of eight 'homegrown players'. The homegrown players - such as Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole and Jay Spearing - are those taught for three years by any English or Welsh club earlier than the age of 21.

Hamden updates middle school tryout schedule

Hamden High School will hold tests and practice for the upcoming fall sports period beginning Aug. 23.

Intended for children varsity and varsity football practice will start Aug. 23 and be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Put into practice will be held at the Hamden High School football field.

Test for freshman football will take place beginning Aug. 23 and be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at Hamden High. Football tests for novel students entering 10th from side to side 12th grade will follow the same schedule.

Football tests will be held Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at Hamden High.

Gulf football fans face delays over EPL

English League Players and Their Hot New Car !!
