Liverpool has named now 21 senior players in their 25-man Premier League match day team.
The new system state that for the 2010-11 Football season, teams have to register a maximum of 17 'non homegrown' and minimum of eight 'homegrown players'. The homegrown players - such as Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole and Jay Spearing - are those taught for three years by any English or Welsh club earlier than the age of 21.
