Newly Appointed China National Team Coach Jose Antonio Camacho Targets 2014 World Cup Finals Spot


Newly appointed China national team coach Jose Antonio Camacho says that his objective is to take the Asian nation to a 2014 World Cup finals and the he 56-year-old was given a 3 year contract last week with the aim to see that China qualify for the showpiece event in Brazil and the Camacho is not unfamiliar to pressure given his coaching experiences with European giants Real Madrid and Benfica and also led his country Spain for the quarter-finals at a Euro 2000 and the 2002 World Cup finals.

Former Spain international understands the significance of his job and the affirms that he will give his best and i know the goal will be taking the Chinese team to a new level and leading the team to a World Cup and the there's a lot of work to do and there is also challenge and pressure, Camacho told the Xinhua news agency.

Me and my assistants came all the way from Spain and have been working around the clock every day since the negotiations and We want to know better about the country and the job in China will take on Singapore in a World Cup qualifier next month and Camacho is slated to meet with his players in Kunming on 22nd August.
