2018 World Cup
FIFA has made the choice to award Russia the correct to host the 2018 World Cup. The Russians faced stiff opposition from England, but FIFA's Executive group members finally opted for Russia.
Voting was accepted out by the FIFA Executive board, of which there are 24 members. These contain the FIFA president - currently Sepp Blatter - senior vice-president Julio Grondona, seven vice-Presidents, and 15 members, all of whom are selected on four-year terms.
There is also a secretary universal - France's Jerome Valcke - other than he is not able to vote in the vote. Nor is Vice-president Reynald Temarii of neither Tahiti (OFC) nor Member Amos Adamu of Nigeria (AFC), who have been suspended due to dishonesty allegation.
