The German player joined his new team-mates for his first training in 18 August 2010.
Mesut Ozil has had an busy day. He passed his medical in the morning, signed his contract past noon, gave his first press conference as a Real Madrid player at 14:00 and joined his new team-mates in the evening for his first training session as a Madridista. The players all gave him a warm welcome, especially Khedira, who received him with a hug.
