The three-time winner stuck to players from his club and nation when voting and set his sights on winning the World Cup in 2014. Lionel Messi revealed that he stayed faithful to his Barcelona and Argentina team-mates when it came to casting his own votes for the 2011 Fifa Ballon d'Or.The 24-year-old lifted his third consecutive Player of the Year award on Monday evening, equalling the record of Michel Platini.

"I am enjoying the fact that today my nation feels proud of me, prouder than they ever have before. It is something brilliant, they are showing me that [pride] and I appreciate in the prizes I have received and the recognition from both my country and my home city in more than anything is the love of the people and i noticed it in the short time I was in Buenos Aires and Rosario, walking in the street a young boy came up to me to i feel loved."

Messi's Barcelona won the Primera Division, Supercopa, Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup in 2011 to 3rd straight Ballon d'Or success for Messi, who has now won the 1st two awards and the prestigious prize was merged with Fifa's World Player of the Year gong in 2010.

Supercopa Clash - Mesut Ozil Got Slapped by Villa

Ozil pointed his cheek that got slapped by villa

They may be the best football team in Europe. But off the pitch, they are pretty much like a bunch of 10 year old kids. I guess we have seen it all in El Clasico. The shouting, yelling, hitting, slapping and pinching. Hearing this, it's more like women in fight.

Something was very wrong in the rivalry between Madrid and Barcelona. It's getting too personal. The hard tackle on the match ? It's normal in a big game such as El Clasico. There are rules for this matter, and also punishment. But putting the emotion on the pitch, that's not normal.

It must have took a lot of anger for the shy and calm Mesut Ozil to shouting and acted like that. Not that I don't understand, though.
Ozil was being the nice person who tried to prevent the clash for turning into a chaos. But suddenly, out of nowhere, David Villa slapped his face, and created a greater dispute. His reason ?? He said that Ozil was in his way....

Secondly, Mourinho silly pinch to Guardiola's assistant. I mean, what's gotten into this person's mind to do such childish thing. He should behave better as a coach, rather than joining the war.

Will there be a healthy and sportive match in El Clasico ??

Cristiano Ronaldo vs Barcelona in Supercopa 2nd Leg (17 August 2011)Pictures

I stopped watching the match after Messi's last goal made the lead to 3-2 for Barcelona. I knew it was hopeless for Madrid to try on striking a goal at Valdes with only few minutes left.

But one thing for sure, Real Madrid have shown an amazing improvement for the new season. They're getting better and better. Hopefully even better than Barcelona.

The problem with Real Madrid is, the lack of defending strategy. All the 3 goals from Barcelona were because of the defenders mistakes. Ronaldo even had  to do the defending when Messi scored the second goal for Barca. I mean, where were Pepe, Khedira, Ramos, and others ? They were too focus on the attacks, and loosen their defense. A thing that we hardly see with Barcelona.

And of course, a clasico never ends without a controversy. This time, Marcelo was the star. First, his clash with Messi . I find it absurd, though, coz it was a normal challenge. Marcelo reached for the ball, and while he jumped, his feet hit Messi's chest, slightly...

But then Messi fell to the ground, as if he got a heart attack or something, and his other fellows started to surround him and protest. Marcelo didn't get anything from the ref, though, but Ronaldo did. I didn't catch up with the incident on why he get it, but I think it was because his protest of the ref. Just ABSURD !!

And the second one when Marcelo made a hard tackle on Fabregas. He left with a red card , but apparently Barcelona players didn't accept that kind of manner, and created another fight , involved the staff and the subs players. Normal view for El Clasico.

Valdes Cheats on Cristiano Ronaldo in Supercopa

Every season, we had to see Barcelona doing a terrible cheating scheme in front of the ref's eyes. Yet, they always manage to get away.

Sure, Real Madrid played it rough yesterday in El Clasico, and probably Pepe deserves to get a yellow for his incident tackling Alves. But the ref seemed to always know how to saves Barcelona's ass.

What the ref did, was giving a small pass for Real Madrid, like letting Pepe free without a card. But in return, he gave a free pass for Barcelona in penalty....Twice !! First, the ref let Abidal free from a handsball in penalty area. And second Valdez also got free after tripping Ronaldo in the penalty.

Here are the video that proves Valdez deliberately move his right arm to tripped Ronaldo in penalty are. I don't judge, I just seen it. Hope all you do the same
