Jorge Valdano Reveals Mahamadou Diarra Is Likely To Leave Real Madrid


Real Madrid director-general Jorge Valdano has exposed that the club are looking to offload two or three players previous to the end of the move summer window and confessed that suspicious midfielder Mahamadou Diarra is likely to leave.

The Spanish giants at present have 26 players in their first-team team but need to trim the number down to 25. The likes of Fernando Gago, Lassana Diarra, Mahamadou Diarra and Rafael Van der Vaart have been talk about as possible candidates to head out the way out door.

“We will be at ease with two or three exits," he said, according to AS. "He (Diarra) is the only one we have verbal in a direct manner, but we have talked to a number of of the other players that will have difficulties charming a place in the first football team."

Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho Admits Roy Hodgson Faces Uphill Battle At Liverpool


Real Madrid trainer Jose Mourinho considers that Liverpool have been receiving worse and worse with every passing year, in a thinly veiled barb heading for at Rafa Benitez.

Benitez parted corporation with the Premier League giants previous this summer to fill the vacancy at San Siro after Mourinho left the Nerazzurri for the Bernabeu. Previous season the Reds unsuccessful to finish in the top four in the English top flight and Mourinho feel that new Reds manager Roy Hodgson will find it rough to resurrect the former European champions.

“It is very hard work for Roy to perform it with Liverpool as, over the last years, they have been receiving worse, worse and worse," the Portuguese is quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph. “The Liverpool of 2004 was enhanced than the Liverpool of 2005, 2005 was better than 2006 and 2006 better than 2007.

Cristiano Ronaldo Training Pictures - Prepare For Facing Penarol (23 August 2010)


Jose Mourinho has included 23 players in his squad list for the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy (Tuesday, 22:15 CET). Cristiano Ronaldo, Casillas, Ramos and Xabi Alonso have made the cut. Youth teamers Mateos and Juanfran have also been included. Pepe, Kaka, Diarra, Albiol and Garay will miss the matcn due to injuries.
